Technologies

Landsdale Primary School

At Landsdale Primary School we focus on upskilling students through the 1:1 iPad program from years 1 to 3 and BYOD for years 4 to 6, in order to create responsible digital citizens.

Students are given the chance to grow their understanding of technology through explicit lessons and real-world STEM projects designed to develop critical thinking skills through a cross-curricular approach, incorporating Science, Technologies, Engineering, and Maths (STEM). We provide students with the opportunities to participate in extension programs and compete in both cluster and wider community competitions. Students' ability to access and utilise devices to enhance their educational outcomes and skills has enabled technology to be embedded across the curriculum and allowed teachers to provide interesting and engaging programs based on students' interests.

Together We Grow

We respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional custodians of this land on which we are meeting, the Wadjuk Noongar people. It is a privilege to be standing on Wadjuk country. We also acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians and non-Aboriginal Australians to the education of all children and people in this country we all live in and share together – Australia.
